Welcome to the crowdsourced learning lab for JOUR 4530 Strategic Social Media at Ohio University. Strategic Social Media is a senior level class offered through the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. Many of our students are strategic communication majors, but we also welcome students from all disciplines at Ohio University.
Throughout the semester, students will complete several individual and team projects to increase their knowledge and skills in the art of engaging online audiences. The projects will include case studies illustrating #SocialWin and #SocialFail, interviews with industry professionals, and campaign proposals.
